Music – Original Works

All music in this section may be used in personal, non-commercial projects if you get my permission, give credit where credit is due, and let me know what it’s being used in so I can mention that in the song description. Most recent songs are at the top.

Pokemon Soundfont OC

This was the result of me fiddling around with a Pokemon B/W soundfont. I was aiming for something closer to a gym leader or evil team battle theme at first, but it ended up sounding more like a friendly rival battle or something… go figure.

Phoenix Spirit – Rise from the Ashes

The first song in which I’ve managed to use my sequencer’s orchestral drum set successfully. It started out as a boss battle, but eventually I scrapped everything but the piano track and tried to make it into some sort of sad theme, like for a death or some other tragic event. And it ended up sounding heroic instead. So, yeah.

Something Dastardly is Afoot!

I honestly didn’t expect this one to turn out so well! This would go well as a theme for some sort Saturday morning cartoon villain. Enjoy… IF YOU DARE! NYAHAHAHA!

Don’t Think, Just Run!

Just something I whipped up to test out a NES soundfont. Probably would work in some sort of boss battle or chase sequence, hence the name.

The Spooked:

This one was composed entirely on WarioWare: DIY, and recorded straight from my DSi by using a male-male audio cable to transform the game audio into a microphone. (I kinda like how the low recording quality made it sound more cave-y!) It’s a follow-up to another song I composed on DIY, “The Haunted”, which IMHO isn’t good enough to put up here.

Untitled #2:

This was going to be the second stage music for Rokkit, but I ended up not using it because I felt it didn’t fit the style of the other tracks.

Untitled #1:

This one started out as a more epic, final-boss-type tune, then I tried to reproduce it in Famitracker for reasons I cannot remember, then it sort of ended up like this. I personally don’t like how it turned out, the particular combination of instruments and certain parts just don’t feel right. I’ll probably remove it unless enough people actually like this song.
